The Proud Country House as a wedding venue.
What an impressive venue the Proud Country House is, the name does not lie, you will be so proud to get married at this venue in the most perfect little 18th Century working village, it is next to Stanmer church which you may have a blessing in once you amend the legal stuff in the Proud Country House…
Whoop whoop, this place is amazing, up to eight hundred guests are able to attend and anything goes.
There are five rooms where you are able to get married in, the marquee is just for blessings and wedding or civil ceremony receptions, but no late parties can be held outside the venue because of it’s near proximities to Stanmer village.
Yes this is a fabulous venue to get married in, hold your wedding/civil ceremony reception in, have your wedding/civil ceremony breakfast or lunch in, (I have personally tried the food there and thought it was delectable.) take photos in, (The main stairs and fireplaces are amazing ideas.) you can also have your own wedding services, meaning dj’s, cakes, accessories, flowers, decorations… As long as they have public liability insurance and they respect the stunningly restored Grade 1 country house, everything is welcome here , is nestled in unspoilt Grade 2 listed parkland and acres of peaceful Sussex woodland and countryside. I hope you choose wooing to book those services.
They can dress up the outside if you want a theme and hire out the whole manor or you can hire just a room to get hitched in and while you are in another room taking photos or getting romantic and or “weather permitting” outside where you could add a bouncy castle to keep the flower girls and page boys entertained whilst you are having the day of your dreams.
And a bit of exclusive information, (Between you and I.) as this leak could get me in trouble. Any time soon, they will have permission to have guest rooms… Wow, I would drastically recommend a long romantic walk amongst the field of Stanmer village before setting off on your Romantic honeymoon.
It is also highly accessible to all.
